SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to endoscopy, and can be used for correcting the position of a video capsule in the lumen of the small intestine. Apparatus for correcting the location of a video capsule in the small intestine constitutes a plastic catheter with a length of 230 cm and a diameter of 3.2 mm, wherein a metal string is located inside, and a loop with a diameter of 20 mm and a width of 5 mm is provided at the distal end of the apparatus, made of blue latex and controlled by a handle located at the proximal end of the apparatus, the traction whereof causes the loop to be opened, the video capsule captured and moved to the required area, followed opening the loop opens by the traction of the handle and releasing the video capsule.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quickly and reliably secure and move the video capsule along the lumen of the small intestine, if necessary.
