FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the noise measurement equipment manufactured by exhaust systems of vehicle engines. Noise insulating screen comprises composite telescopic, square cross-section rod (3) located at opposite ends of rod of means for fixing rod to car body. Rod is made in cross section of cylindrical, equipped with the possibility of longitudinal movement and fixation of at least one attachment means of bracket (8) of measuring microphone (9) and multi-layer noise isolating panel (2). Noise insulating panel in plan is made composite, formed and installed with possibility of minimizing gaps between panel elements.
EFFECT: provides for acoustic investigations of the exhaust system of car coupe with various body width, reduced labor intensity of preparation process for acoustic investigations, as well as increased reliability of measurements obtained during investigations.
