FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing, in particular to foaming compositions based on surfactants for fire extinguishing class A and B. Foaming composition for fire extinguishing contains, wt. %: sodium salts of alkyl sulphates fatty alcohols of fraction C₉-C₁₁ – 70.0–80.0, sodium salts of alpha-olefin sulphonate C_nH_2nSO₃Na, where n = 14 – 5.0–15.0, polyethylene glycol – 5.0–18.0 and citric acid – 0.1–0.3. Composition can additionally contain carbamide and a polymer complexing agent based on polycarboxylic acids, salts and esters thereof, for example, Acrylon AMK-10.

EFFECT: foaming composition is characterized by high multiplicity and stability of foam, can be widely used for extinguishing class A and B fires, in transport, at enterprises of various industries, in solutions with working concentration of 1 % based on distilled, drinking, hard and sea water.
