SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is a cytometric method for prediction of the outcome of widespread purulent peritonitis, including sampling and blood examination, characterized by the fact that the patients immediately after the diagnosis of WPP by flow cytometry are used to determine the percentage of B1-lymphocytes and activated T-regulatory cells in blood, after which T-cell regulation coefficient (TCRC) is calculated, which is a ratio of B1-lymphocytes percentage to percentage content of activated T-regulatory cells, and if the TCRC value is 4.23 or more, the unfavorable outcome of the WPP is predicted, while the TCRC value lower than 4.23 enables predicting the favorable outcome of the WPP.
EFFECT: method enables early detection of the risk of the unfavorable outcome and provides a high level of prediction reliability.
