FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to hardening thermal treatment of dispersed-hardened bronze. Method for thermal treatment of articles made from bronze BrNCS 2,5-0,7-0,6 subjected to thermal deforming processing, includes aerothermoacoustic treatment, which consists in heating billet before aging to temperature of 150–170 °C, holding for 10 minutes and cooling in resonator of gas-jet sound generator with simultaneous action of gas flow and acoustic field of audio frequency range with sound pressure level within 140–160 dB during 10–12 minutes. Subsequent aging is carried out at temperature of 440 °C with holding for 2.5 hours and cooling in air. After said aerothermoacoustic treatment twice.
EFFECT: higher mechanical properties of bronze BrNCS 2,5-0,7-0,6, which makes it possible to use it as material for springs.
