FIELD: electrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special electrometallurgy, in particular to processes of producing consumable electrodes from foundry wastes used for casting parts of equipment operating in aggressive media under high pressure, and can be used in making cast parts of gas gate valves and Christmas trees accessories. In charge during melting alloy is used wastes of foundry production with preservation on their surface of refractory layer of oxides of titanium. In production of consumable electrode, said wastes are subjected to trimming, wastes are laid throughout the height of mold to ensure uniform distribution of oxygen throughout the volume of molten metal, at that providing gap between ingot and wastes, in which melt of technically pure titanium is poured at ratio of wastes and melt of 1:1 by weight, after which the mold is cooled for 1–2 hours.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain casts of parts of equipment operating in hydrogen sulfide medium at pressure of not less than 70 MPa.
