SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectrometry. Corona discharge assembly comprises a plurality of corona discharge units, wherein the corona discharge unit comprises a pair of corona discharge metal wires arranged in parallel, pulses having the same amplitude but opposite in polarity are applied to corona discharge metal wires arranged in parallel, wherein metal wires are alternately arranged in zigzag or ring order.

EFFECT: technical result is increased service life of a source of corona discharge and sensitivity of the spectrometer based on ion mobility.
