FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing low-sulfur diesel fuels. Invention relates to a method consisting in conversion of mixed and straight-run diesel fractions with high sulfur content at temperature of 340–380 °C, pressure 3.5–8.0 MPa, weight consumption of material 1.0–2.5 h-1, hydrogen/raw material weight ratio 300–500 m3/m3 in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst containing, wt%: [Co(H2O)2(C6H5O7)]2[Mo4O11(C6H5O7)2] – 7.7–32.0; Co2[H2P2Mo5O23] – 11.1–29.0; carrier – balance; wherein the support contains, wt%: aluminum borate Al3BO6 with norbergite structure – 5.0-25.0; γ-Al2O3 – the rest that after sulphidation according to known methods corresponds to the following content, wt%: Mo – 10.0–16.0; Co – 2.7–4.5; P – 0.8–1.8; S – 6.7–10.8; carrier – balance, wherein carrier contains, wt%: aluminum borate Al3BO6 with norbergite structure – 5.0–25.0; γ-Al2O3 – balance. Catalyst has specific surface area of 120–190 m2/g, pore volume 0.35–0.65 cm3/g, average pore diameter of 7–12 nm, and is particles with a section in the form of a circle, a clover or a quatrefoil with a diameter of the circumscribed circle of 1.0–1.6 mm and a length of up to 20 mm.
EFFECT: obtaining diesel fuel containing less than 10 ppm of sulfur during hydrofining of straight-run and mixed diesel fractions with high content of sulfur.
