FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrotreating catalysts for producing diesel fuel with low sulfur content. Hydrotreating catalyst of diesel fuel contains compounds of cobalt, molybdenum, phosphorus and a carrier. Catalyst contains, wt%: [Co(H2O)2(C6H5O7)]2[Mo4O11(C6H5O7)2] – 7.7–32.0; Co2[H2P2Mo5O23] – 11.1–29.0; carrier – the rest. Carrier contains, wt%: silicon dioxide SiO2, which is an amorphous phase and having a particle size of 3–20 nm, – 2.0–20.0, aluminum borate Al3BO6 with a norgerite structure – 5.0–25.0, γ-Al2O3 is the rest. Catalyst has specific surface area of 120–180 m2/g, pore volume of 0.30-0.50 cm3/g, average pore diameter of 7–12 nm and represents particles with cross-section, trefoil or quatrefoil with diameter of described circumference 1.0–1.6 mm and length up to 20 mm.
EFFECT: catalyst has high desulphurisation and denitriding activity.
