FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quantum frequency standards and can be used in designing hydrogen frequency standards of active type. Technical effect is achieved due to the fact that under conditions of vacuum purity, the dissipated field is measured by each sorting magnet without a screen and with a put on screen; the four-layer screening system is prepared and inspected from the external field, preliminary assembly and further installation of the whole sorting system into the lower vacuum chamber of the hydrogen generator; controlled demagnetization of screens is performed; at monitoring output power of hydrogen generator recording generation signal; Majorana coils are fed with equal current of such magnitude such that field gradient between them does not exceed 0.1 G/cm; included are two pairs of auxiliary transverse coils for fine adjustment of zero field displacement into geometric center of atomic beam; each pair of coils is carefully scanned for current and the area where output power is most sensitive to current change is determined; configuration of currents is established, at which output power is maximum.
EFFECT: high reproducibility, simple technical implementation and low sensitivity to external magnetic field.
