FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quantum frequency standards and can be used in designing and producing hydrogen frequency standards. Magnetic sorting system consists of a power frame of four pole tips of magnetically soft alloy, fixed on ends by means of screws in slots of guide washers from stainless steel, in center of which rings are pressed, determining value of magnetic gap, samarium cobalt magnets of standard sizes are installed on each pole tip of power frame, so that in the sorting system there is an alternation of poles, a magnet is put on magnets from thin layers of magnetically soft alloy, consisting of two longitudinal symmetrical to the middle of opposite faces of the octagon sides each, wherein halves of each next layer are put on the previous one with shift of 90 degrees to shut off its gap, and shell is fixed with non-magnetic screws with pole tips through holes in magnets, which makes the structure mechanically strong.
EFFECT: simplified design and labor intensity in manufacturing of magnetic sorting system.
