SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method for determination of lithologic composition of roof of mine working at drilling. In the device and method proposed in the present invention, a special collection device is used to collect debris of rocks produced during drilling in the process of drilling a roof using a device for drilling wells for rod support and for installation of rods, and the entire process, which includes supply of rock, filtration, deposition and drying, is carried out in the tunnel mine face, and lithologic composition of the mine working roof in a certain range is measured in real time using an improved manual ore analyzer.
EFFECT: technical result is determination during drilling of lithologic composition of mine working roof.
