FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to abdominal surgery, and can be used to select a surgical management method for perforated ulcers of the duodenum. Diameters of ulcer and perforation are determined at preoperative stage during esophagogastroduodenoscopy. If the size of ulcer is 1 cm or less, the degree of manifestation of the peripheral infiltrate (K) is calculated as the ratio of the diameter of the ulcer to the diameter of the perforation. If K is less than 2, insignificant peri-cervical infiltrate is detected or absent, and laparoscopic suturing of the duodenal perforation ulcer is selected by single-row suture. If K is equal to or more than 2, pronounced peripheral infiltration is determined, and laparotomy is selected with superposition of double-row sutures and omentoplasty.
EFFECT: method enables the accurate selection of the surgical management method in perforated ulcers of the duodenum.
