SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, in particular to a novel imidazole compound of formula (1-1-1), where R¹ represents a hydrogen atom and at least one of R¹¹, R¹², R¹³, R¹⁴ and R¹⁵ is a group represented by -O-R¹⁰, wherein R¹⁰ is an alkyl group having 1 carbon atom, and each of the other R¹¹, R¹², R¹³, R¹⁴ and R¹⁵ is a hydrogen atom, and n is 0.

EFFECT: technical result is that during treatment of metal surface with liquid containing said imidazole compound, inhibition of migration and oxidation of metal surface is observed.
