SUBSTANCE: provided is a method for producing product (1) by treating components (B…), including continuous sheets (3a, 5a) during transportation of components (B…) on routes (R1a-R7a). Combination of continuous sheets (3a, 5a) is carried out at the location of combining (Sc) to create composite sheet (1a). Sheet (1a) is cut to produce product (1). In case of problem in certain location (St) on routes (R1a–R7a) transportation on routes (R1a–R7a) is suspended. Some of processing devices (77, 52, …) located between location (St) and combining location (Sc) are switched to standby state. After the problem is corrected, transportation is restarted while processing devices are in standby state, and after restart of transportation, processing devices in standby state are restored to processing state. As the most upstream processing device (Mu) is determined as having the highest number of parts for forming product (1) between a processing device and a location (Sc) among all processing devices located upstream of the combining location (Sc), processing device is restored so that the part for which processing is restarted by recovery, passes location (Sc), before the most upstream part (Bue) located in device (Mu) during transportation interruption, reaches position (Sc) after repeated start of transportation.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing an absorbent product.
