FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hot water supply and can be used for preparation and supply of water of required temperature to various consumers. In a thermosyphon electric water heater with a storage container containing a decorative casing and a hollow storage tank with a housing insulated from the outside, a control unit, thermosiphon pipe with heat-insulated walls, heating element with protective thermal relay, two and more water temperature sensors, temperature controllers, control unit, cold water supply pipes and heated water extraction pipes, wherein the storage tank is equipped with one or more additional heating elements, including forming a unit of two or more tubular electric tees of the same or different power with or without the existing heating element with common or separate protective thermostats, built-in their working parts into the inlet cavity of the thermosiphon pipe or into the housing of the storage tank in the area of the lower base of the latter, including through an additional or general mounting hole or mounting-locking device, wherein control unit is equipped with program unit and timer connected to control circuits of corresponding heating elements.

EFFECT: use of the invention will reduce the time for preparing heated water in a limited volume of the inner cavity of the accumulation tank while preventing water boiling in the cavity of the thermosiphon pipe, and increasing the efficiency of the device by reducing heat losses through the housing of the storage tank.
