FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of erosion-resistant heat-shielding coatings by plasma sputtering. It can be used in aerospace engineering when manufacturing heat-loaded LPE elements, for example, combustion chambers. Plasma deposition of nichrome sublayer is carried out using powder with particle size of 40–100 mcm and subsequent spraying of cermet composition from mechanical powder mixture containing 80 wt. % of zirconium dioxide stabilized with 4÷6 wt. % calcium oxide, and 20 wt. % nichrome powder. Thickness of nichrome interlayer is within 1.5 Dmin≤SH≤Dmax, where SH - thickness of nichrome underlayer, Dmin - minimum granulometric composition of nichrome particles, Dmax is maximum particle size distribution of nichrome particles, and thickness of cermet layer is Sto= (1.0…1.1) Sn, where Sto is thickness of Cermet layer, Sn is the actual thickness of the obtained nichrome layer.
EFFECT: higher adhesion strength and heat resistance.
