FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to methods for obtaining heat-protective wear-resistant coatings on parts made of cast iron or steel, and can be used to increase the durability and wear resistance of parts of the cylinder-piston group of automotive equipment. The method for applying a heat-resistant wear-resistant coating on parts made of cast iron and steel includes plasma spraying of a sublayer of Co-Cr-Al-Y composition and subsequent spraying of a cermet composition from a mechanical powder mixture containing, wt.%: nichrome 20-30, zirconium dioxide stabilized with yttrium oxide , 45-35, aluminum oxide 20-15, molybdenum 5-10, chromium carbide 5, tungsten carbide 5, while before plasma spraying, the surface of the part is abrasive blasted with silicon carbide with a particle size of 1.5 mm.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the resistance of the coating to wear during friction, the hardness of the coating, heat resistance, adhesion of the coating to the base alloy.
