FIELD: heating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in metallurgy and machine building, particularly in continuous and/or differentiated thermal treatment of metal products. Device comprises a working chamber, at least one means of creating a radial stream of gas atmosphere, forming at least one stream of medium and placed in upper part of housing, and additionally comprises at least one pressure channel with nozzle openings forming at least one high-speed jet of gas medium for product treatment by convection or convection and radiation, and at least one discharge channel equipped with at least one medium temperature changing device, which together form the circulation circuit required for gas medium movement.
EFFECT: invention increases rate of heating or cooling gas atmosphere inside working volume of heat treatment device and uniformity of temperature field of gas atmosphere inside working volume, intensify process of heat exchange from gas atmosphere to metal product, increase hardness and strength of metal product of hardness groups from 1 to 5 at tempering due to reduction of internal residual stresses.
