FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, and more specifically to the development of air-cushion vehicles with flexible skegs. Disclosed is a hovercraft with flexible skegs, having an air cushion installed along the sides, comprising padded inflatable skegs, a flexible stern guard and a flexible nose enclosure consisting of hinged flexible elements. Flexible feed enclosure is made in the form of a flexible web stretched along the tailgate of the airtight material, which is fixed to the ship bottom by the ends of its two sides so that a flexible container is formed across the ship, located between its skegs and having in plan a parallelogram shape. Length of aft flexible guard exceeds its height in inflated condition by not less than three times, and its cavity is interconnected with cavity of flexible enclosure of air cushion by main line, inlet or outlet end of which is located within the vessel bottom, not reaching the fore end of attachment of the flexible fodder. Flexible hinged elements of ship nose enclosure are arranged along the width of its hull, made and installed so that form in cross section the shape of elongated horseshoe, which is turned with convex side of arc in direction of ship movement, and their front wall at that forms an acute internal angle with vessel bottom.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of ship's navigational ability and navigability.
