SUBSTANCE: use for functional control of radiosonde. Essence of the invention consists in that the device for functional monitoring of a radio probe, comprising a microwave analyser, a microwave generator and a power supply, each of which is connected to the system controller by an output, additionally installed are an oscilloscope and a device for receiving signals of the radiosonde, wherein the oscilloscope is connected by an input to a device for receiving signals of the radiosonde and an output with a system controller, the input of the microwave analyser is connected to the output of the device for receiving signals from the radiosonde, and the output of the microwave generator is connected to the input of the device for receiving signals from the radiosonde.

EFFECT: possibility of simultaneous use of a microwave generator and a microwave analyser for determining operability of a system for receiving a radio probe signal, extracting telemetry for comparison with parameters of the medium, determining the value of radiated power of the microwave signal of the radiosonde.
