SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a matrix substrate and a method for its excitation and a display device. Matrix substrate comprises a plurality of gate lines (G1, G2, G3, ..., Gi, ..., Gn) and data lines (D1, D2, D3, ..., Dj, ..., Dm), as well as a plurality of subpixels (10) limited by gate lines (G1, G2, G3, ..., Gi, ..., Gn) and data lines (D1, D2, D3, ..., Dj, ..., Dm) of data intersecting method, wherein at least one additional line (L) for providing an additional data signal is provided between two adjacent columns of subpixels (10, 10'), and subpixels (10) in same column correspond to at least one additional line (L); and at least one subpixel (10) of subpixels (10) in the same column is excited by an additional line (L) corresponding to subpixel (10).
EFFECT: technical result observed during implementation of disclosed solution is creation of matrix substrate, excitation method and a display device without delay for subpixels which are switched on late to receive a data signal when the gate line is connected in series.
