SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of searching for a provider for providing a service, implemented by an integration platform running on a computing device of a user, comprising at least a processor and memory, wherein the method comprises steps of: receiving a service request in the integration platform from a user, wherein the service differs from the integration platform and is located on at least one of (i) a user's computing device and (ii) a device external to the user's computing device; using the integration platform access to the registry of a plurality of services, wherein plurality of services registry is arranged on said at least one of (i) user computing device and (ii) a device external to the user's computing device, wherein each of the plurality of services corresponds to a confidence level in the trust level hierarchy; performing the iterative search of the requested service provider in the registry in accordance with the hierarchy of confidence levels, wherein the search in the registry starts with the highest trust level from trust levels, as a result of which the search for providers, which correspond to the higher level of trust, is performed before the search for providers with a lower trust level, until the provider of the requested service is found or until searching at all levels of the hierarchy without the found provider of the requested service; and after finding the provider of the requested service, issuing a command to the found provider of the requested service, thereby instructing the found provider to provide the service to the user.

EFFECT: technical result is providing a provider search for providing a service.
