FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: provided is a working fluid pressure transmitter. Working fluid pressure transmitter includes a pressure sensor having an electrical characteristic which changes in response to pressure sensor deformation in response to pressure. Pressure sensor is connected to a measuring circuit which is configured to provide indication of said electrical characteristic. Insulating diaphragm is made with possibility of contact with working fluid medium and deformation in response to working fluid pressure. Isolating diaphragm is connected by means of essentially incompressible filling fluid medium to the pressure sensor. Filler structure is connected with filling fluid to yield excess pressure, and is configured to be substantially rigid at pressures below the selected threshold, but to deform in response to pressure above the selected threshold.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of potential susceptibility of sensor to high excess pressure.
