SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to pressure sensors of the type used for perception of working fluid pressure in industrial processes, more specifically, this invention relates to pressure sensors filled with filling fluid substance. Pressure sensor (100) includes elongated housing (202) having cavity (204) formed in it, which is deformed in response to the applied pressure. Insulating diaphragm (214) seals the cavity relative to the fluid medium of the process and is configured to deflect in response to the pressure applied by the fluid medium of the process. Insulating filling fluid substance in cavity (204) applies pressure to elongated body (214) in response to deflection of insulating diaphragm (214), thereby causing deflection of elongated housing (202). Deformation sensor (240) is connected to elongated housing (202) and in response to deformation of elongated housing (202) it provides output signal of sensor, which is indicator of process pressure.
EFFECT: improved pressure measurement device, possibility of withstanding high pressures, strong impacts or vibrations.
