FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of commercial mixed explosives based on solid ammonium nitrate of ANFO type. Method involves mechanical mixing of at least two types of solid ammonium nitrate in form, size and porosity of particles with liquid combustibles. Prior to mechanical mixing of ammonium nitrate with liquid oil products, liquid oil products are colored by mixing them with at least one black coloring additive in amount of 0.05–25.0 wt% of the weight of liquid petroleum products. Coloring additive is selected from a group comprising soot, technical carbon, charcoal, bituminous coal, printing inks, spent oil products, pyrolysis oil, asphaltenes, bitumen and acrylic resin. First, ammonium nitrate, having oil absorption less than stoichiometric (ML), mixed with whole amount of colored liquid oil products, then the obtained mixture is added with ammonium nitrate, having oil absorption higher than stoichiometric (MH), and mixed to obtain a colorless mixture. Sum of particles of ammonium nitrate with oil absorption is more than stoichiometric SM and the ratio of particles of ammonium nitrate with oil absorption is less than stoichiometric SL is equal to 1, and the following ratio is satisfied: SL⋅ML+ SM⋅MH≥5.6 wt%.

EFFECT: higher homogeneity and physical stability of mixed explosive.
