SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a controller for a switched reactive electric motor which is mounted on a vehicle. Switched reactive electric motor includes a rotor, a stator and a coil wound on the stator. Switched reactive electric motor is mounted on the vehicle as a source of actuation to actuate the vehicle. Controller includes electronic control module. Electronic control module is configured to perform first control to excite coil at first current value in first excitation range. Electronic control module is configured, when electronic control module determines that vehicle can not start movement, even when the electronic control module executes the first control, perform the second control to excite the coil at the second current value greater than the first current value, in the second excitation range, which is narrower than the first excitation range.

EFFECT: invention is intended to improve starting qualities of a vehicle.
