FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in heating devices mounted on industrial facilities for various purposes. Heating element of the device for heating an industrial facility consists of an extended shell of ferromagnetic material and a coating based on glass particles in the cavity of the shell. Coating is applied by sputtering glass particles on inner surface of heating element and on each end outer surface of heating element. Each end surface of the heating element is made rounded. Coating can also be applied on the inner, outer and each end surface of the heating element. In the element wall there are drain holes, surface of each of which is coated.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of force of electric conductor (electric cable) in heating elements and increased electric protection of electric conductor inside heating element.
