FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in heating devices for industrial facilities such as pipelines, tanks and reservoirs. To reduce the power consumption for heating the heating element, it is performed in the form of a faceted open on one side of the shell of a ferromagnetic material located near the metal wall of the heated object with the possibility of electromagnetic interaction with it. Middle of the shell extends to the outside of the object. Open side channel formed by the open part of the casing under the electric cable is designed so that the width of the open part of the shell is equal to the length of half of the generatrix of the shell from its inner side. In one embodiment, in a cross-section, the shell has a faceted l-shape with a length of one face on the inside, equal to the width of the open part of the shell. In another embodiment, in cross-section, the shell has a form convex from the wall of the heated object, half of the length of the inner surface of which is equal to the width of the open part of the shell. End of each shell end in its cross section is made curved, concave or flat.
EFFECT: reduction of power consumption.
