Computer-implemented method of human identification in a mode of simultaneous operation of a group of video cameras, performed by means of a computing device, comprises steps of obtaining an image of a human face from a group of video cameras, each of the cameras capturing an image of a person under a certain aspect, converting images obtained from video cameras into a vector form, identifying a person and detecting corresponding information on available vector images in the database for different views obtained from a group of video cameras, comparing obtained from video cameras vector images with human vector images stored in database, determining for each video camera from a group a target image vector for each video camera based on vector proximity, assigning a target image vector as a reference for each video camera, performing human recognition based on reference image vectors.

EFFECT: high accuracy of identifying people in video surveillance systems using a plurality of cameras.
