FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground-based testing of aircraft head parts (fairings), namely, to radio-technical characteristics (RTC) monitoring methods of radiotransparent fairing (RTF) under conditions simulating aerodynamic heating. Technical result is achieved due to that heating is carried out by point infrared emitters with parabolic reflectors, which are mounted in the windows of the spherical segment, base diameter of which is much larger than diameters of bases of emitter reflectors installed on spherical segment so that axes of reflectors are directed along normal to surface of spherical segment, and fairing is located so that its axis coincides with axis of spherical segment.
EFFECT: determination of radio-technical characteristics continuously on the whole aircraft flight trajectory.
