FIELD: thermophysical measurements.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to calibrate heat flow sensors during ground tests in radiation heating installations. Method for calibrating a heat flux sensor is proposed, which includes generating a radiant heat flux by emitters, forming a heat flux at the light guide input by superimposing the n-th number of parallel radiation beams from the n-th number of emitters installed on a spherical segment along the normal to its surface. The axis of symmetry of the light guide coincides with the axis of symmetry of the spherical segment, and the center of the circle of the input of the light guide coincides with the center of the sphere of the segment, and the light guide is made in form of a truncated cone shell with a mirror inner coating. The method includes alternately installing the reference and calibrated heat flux sensors at the output of the light guide, recording the output signal of the calibrated and reference sensors, and matching the signal of the calibrated sensor and the measured heat flux density.

EFFECT: provision of regulation of heat flux density during calibration of heat flux sensors and simplification of their calibration.
