FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for treating castration-resistant prostate cancer. That is ensured by prescribing a combination of preparations of cabazitaxel 25 mg/m2 body surface once every 3 weeks + prednisolone 10 mg daily. That is combined with the daily intravenous drop-by-drop infusion of the amber acid drug solution in the form of methylglucamine mixtures in amount of 5–6 g of succinic acid per 1 liter of the infusion mixture with a length of the therapeutic course for 3 weeks.
EFFECT: method enables providing more effective and safe treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer with reducing the side effects of chemotherapy ensured by systemically prescribed amber acid preparations.
