FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to audio signals processing for a virtual spatial audio conference system. Audio signal processing device for processing a plurality of audio signals determining a plurality of audio signal spectra, wherein audio signals must be transmitted to a listener such that a listener perceives that audio signals originate from virtual positions of a plurality of audio signal sources, wherein the device comprises a selector configured to select the spatial position of virtual positions of audio signal sources relative to the listener from a plurality of possible spatial locations, and a filter configured to filter a plurality of audio signals based on the selected spatial arrangement of the virtual positions of the plurality of audio signal sources relative the listener.
EFFECT: improved speech intelligibility in a virtual spatial audio conference.
