SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for producing an electrode, as well as to a method of producing an energy storage device. According to the invention, the electrode sheet production device includes a laser radiation device, which irradiates a stack of sheets with a first laser beam having a wavelength absorbed by the separator, and a second laser beam having a wavelength absorbed by the layer of composite electrode material, and a controller which controls excitation of the laser radiation device. Controller displaces the irradiation position of the first laser beam relative to the stack of sheets and moves the position of irradiation of the second laser beam so as to follow the trajectory of the irradiation position of the first laser beam.
EFFECT: reduced production costs for energy storage device.
