SUBSTANCE: system for motor vehicle direction comprises a controller for supplying to loading-unloading platform, connected to vehicle steering control system, extravehicular scanner for vehicle and transmitter. Scanner for vehicle generates scanning data to determine vehicle reference point and orientation thereof. Transmitter transmits the control point location and the vehicle orientation to the loading-unloading platform controller. Method of motor vehicle direction based on image data to loading-unloading station includes stages, at which: current position of vehicle is determined; receiving trajectory free from collisions; vehicle is maneuvered.
EFFECT: higher reliability of autonomous supply of vehicle to loading platform.
