FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to food industry, in particular, to food product based on honey with gold. Food product based on honey with gold contains honey and gold, additionally soluble food fibers produced of chicory in total amount of 7–50 % of product volume and pectin in amount of 0.5–1.5 % of product volume. Honey is natural floral in concentration of 50–92 % of volume of product, and food gold in form of flakes in amount of not more than 0.01 % of volume of product. Method for production of food product based on honey with gold includes preparation of natural flower honey taken in amount of 50–92 % of product volume, preparation of syrup of soluble food fibers produced of chicory taken in total amount of 7–50 % of product volume and pectin taken in amount of 0.5–1.5 % of product volume. Then one mixes the produced natural floral honey and the produced syrup, followed by thorough mixing and packing into consumer containers. After that, food gold in the form of flakes is added directly into the consumer container in an amount of not more than 0.01 % of the product volume with further stirring.

EFFECT: invention improves organoleptic characteristics, in particular, attractive appearance of product, due to distribution of gold flakes throughout the product volume and prevention of their precipitation and to increase biological value of food product based on honey with gold due to use of pectin as additives, as well as soluble food fibers obtained from chicory roots.
