FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in production of cutting tools, in particular, blanks for saw blade, saw band, cutting line, stamping knife or blade. First flat carrier is placed by one of its edges along the edge of the second flat carrier with formation of at least one upper and one lower openings between them. First and second carriers are welded along edges with addition of at least one first cutting material in form of particles into upper and lower openings and separating first and second carriers along the weld joint.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing inexpensive and continuous simple manufacture of blanks for cutting tools with possibility of using a wide range of materials.
