FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of pectin substances from Lemna minor, a senior aquatic plant of duckweed. Disclosed method of producing Lemna minor duckweed involves holding raw material in acidified water at pH 1–2 in a water bath at temperature of 80–100 °C for 1–3 hours, subsequent filtration, deposition of pectin substances with 96 % ethanol in ratio 1:2–4, holding mixture at temperature 2–4 °C for 12 hours. Then obtained solution is filtered through paper filter and obtained residue is dried in air at room temperature. Using duckweed, which after harvesting was frozen at -25 °C.
EFFECT: invention increases output of the end product.
