FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, in particular to the detachable sealing joints of metal-to-metal parts of high-pressure vessels operating at pressure of 140 MPa and temperature difference of up to 750 °C. Device consists of sealing ring, mating flanges with annular groove as seats and tightening bolts. Sealing ring is made in the form of a flat washer, the outer edges of which are chamfered at angle of 40–60° to each other, lateral faces of the seats are bored so that in the tightened state of the connection together form an angle less than the outer angle of the washer, the angle difference must be at least two degrees, which enables self-sealing of the connection due to temperature difference. In addition, on the inner surface of the ring, which faces the axis of the vessel, there is a symmetric circular inner groove for self-sealing of the connection due to pressure in the vessel. Tests have shown that the seal operates normally, reliably seals the vessel at pressure of up to 160 MPa and medium temperature of up to 950 °C.
EFFECT: invention increases operational reliability of sealing of high-pressure vessels at temperature differences in its parts.
