FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a separator for liquid and gas phases, which can be used to separate liquids and gases in a stream of well fluids from a hydrocarbon well. Separator for the gas flow includes a horizontal reservoir having an inlet for the fluid, an outlet for the fluid and a flow path passing inside the horizontal reservoir. Flow restrictor is located inside the tank between the inlet and outlet openings. One or more sets of fluid holes are in fluid communication with the reservoir and located on the bottom surface of the reservoir. Each plurality of fluid holes includes a first hole and a second hole. First hole is located upstream along the second hole. Flow channel is in fluid communication with the first hole and the second hole. Flow channel defines a secondary flow path adjacent to the horizontal tank, with the first hole acting as an exhaust discharge into the secondary flow path, and the second hole acting as an exhaust release from the secondary flow path into the tank.
EFFECT: invention provides improved separation of liquids and gases in a stream of well fluids from a hydrocarbon well.
