FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for surgical treatment of ingrown nail in children. A marginal resection of the nail plate and a laser destruction of the growth area of the edge of the nail plate with excision of granulations and treatment of the wound of the lateral nail roller with a laser are performed. Laser destruction is carried out with a portable contact laser scalpel with a flexible light guide, exposed to radiation at wave length 0.97 mcm and power 1.7 W.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce a risk of recurrence.
