SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to X-ray imaging means. X-ray imaging device comprises an X-ray source system for providing an X-ray beam, at least one grating, and a linear detector with sensor lines, wherein each of the sensor lines is provided with sensor elements, the X-ray imaging device is configured to move the linear detector and the object to be rendered relative to each other, so that in accordance with sections of the X-ray beam, the interference patterns are detectable in the corresponding different relative positions of the linear detector and the object for reconstructing the image of the object, wherein at least one grid comprises at least one first segment and at least one second segment located next to each other in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the linear detector, wherein number of first segments is equal to number of sensor lines of linear detector, number of second segments is equal to number of sensor lines of linear detector, X-ray imaging device is configured to move a linear detector and at least one array relative to each other between at least a first relative position and a second relative position, so that in the first relative position the X-ray beam portion during operation passes through at least one first segment and then enters the one-dimensional sensor line for detection, while at least one second segment is located outside the X-ray beam portion, such that it is projected along the X-ray beam on the portion between adjacent sensor lines, and that in the second relative position, the X-ray beam portion during operation passes through at least one second segment and then enters the one-dimensional sensor line for detection, while at least one first segment is arranged outside the X-ray beam portion so that it is projected along the X-ray beam to the portion between adjacent sensor lines. X-ray imaging installation comprises an X-ray imaging device, a processor, and a device for receiving an object to be visualized, wherein the processor is configured to control the relative movement of the X-ray imaging device and the object receiving device relative to each other and/or relative movement of at least one array and a linear detector of the X-ray imaging device relative to each other. X-ray imaging method is carried out using an apparatus which also includes a machine-readable medium for controlling an X-ray imaging device or an X-ray imaging apparatus.

EFFECT: use of inventions improves operational flexibility with respect to phase contrast imaging.
