FIELD: security systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technical means of protection and can be used for protection of perimeters of objects, extended areas of the area, using a linear part of the electrically driven enclosure as a sensitive element. Prior to operation, active resistance, inductance and capacitance of the linear part are measured, which are characteristic in the absence of action on the linear part, in case of short circuit and when the linear part touches the person. Then the values of percentage change of electric parameters at short-circuit and at contact by the person in relation to electric parameters are determined at absence of action on the linear part. In process of operation, current electrical parameters of linear part of electrically driven enclosure are measured and compared with previous experimentally measured values of electric parameters with no action. If the percentage relationship with the experimental data is matched, the appropriate information on the state of the linear part is output. Also disclosed is a corresponding device, measuring unit of which additionally comprises devices for measuring inductance and capacitance.

EFFECT: high probability of determining the fact of touch of the linear part of the electrified enclosure by the object and, as a result, reducing the number of false triggering, as well as high level of informativity of the linear part of the electrically driven enclosure.
