FIELD: fire safety equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates explosion suppression system. System can include a gun comprising a barrel and a reservoir for a driving medium, a cartridge for filling with a suppression means, made so that this cartridge can be inserted into the barrel, and a start mechanism arranged between the barrel and the reservoir for the driving medium. Cartridge for filling by means of suppression can be made so that cartridge can interact with source of moving medium. System may include one or more explosion sensors, which can be sensors of one or more types, and explosion suppression device can be made so that this device can be activated in case one or more sensors indicate explosion. Invention also relates to a locking mechanism for an explosion suppression system, wherein said locking mechanism includes a mechanical and/or an electrical component. Between the volume of the substance, which is the suppression means, and the volume of the substance which is the driving medium, the actuating mechanisms are arranged in the explosion suppression system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of explosion suppression system, suitable for use on a wide range of objects.
