METHOD OF RECEIVING AND ACCOUNTING FOR OIL PRODUCTS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01F3/00 B65D3/00

Abstract RU 2695520 C1

FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated methods of pumping and accounting of oil products or other liquids with low pressure of saturated vapours drained from railway tank-vehicles (RTV) and other containers, namely, to dynamic methods of fuel mass measurement with the least measurement error and high reliability of such measurement performance at complete release of tanks from media transported in them. Distinctive feature of the proposed solution is a two-stage method of pumping and accounting of fuel, which includes the main and final stages. Stages differ by method of medium extraction from reservoir: in the main stage medium is extracted by pump from pipeline connected to reservoir and is pumped under pressure to the first measuring line. This first (or main) measuring line is equipped in the main-line pipeline system and is equipped at the inlet with a mass meter with the first flow rate range. When the set values are reached from the instruments, the automatic control system stops the first line pump and actuates its shut-off valves, thus completing the main measurement cycle and switches the system to the final stage mode. At the final stage, the medium flow is collected from the tank and inner cavities of the measurement system only by gravity, entering the crankcase of the system, from lower point of which is supplied by pump to the second measuring line, which efficiency and minimum possible measured amount of medium is one or two orders lower than that of the first line, and equipped with mass meter with the second flow rate range.

EFFECT: technical result is implementation of dynamic mass measurements with minimum error, as well as providing level of reliability of accounting for weight of oil products, unreachable in other systems, taken from tank at its complete unloading, both due to reduction of minimum measured amount of product, and due to reduced rate of collecting oil products on completing stage.
