FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for treating strabismus. Performing complex treatment involving exposure to electric bipolar pulses with amplitude 2÷9 V, pulse ratio 8 and frequency 4.90 Hz; 18.5 Hz; 31.5 Hz; 64.5 Hz; 88.5 Hz; 94.5 Hz; 95.5 Hz, wherein exposure is carried out through brass electrodes applied on palms of patient, successively 2÷3 minutes of each of the frequencies. That is followed by acupuncture for 25÷30 minutes, acting on biologically active periorbital points: V1, V2, PC3, PC4, PC5; point E4 and auricular points: AP8, AP24a, AP246. Integrated treatment is daily for 7÷10 days with repetition of therapeutic course 2+4 times in 6 months.
EFFECT: method enables non-traumatic, painless and effective treatment of strabismus, namely to restore binocular vision without developing allergic reactions to the procedures.
