FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anesthesiology in dental practice, and can be used for mandibular anesthesia. That is ensured by palpation of the point of stick-in point and introduction of anesthetic. In order to determine the point of the needle prick, the angle of the mandibular branch is determined and angle of 134–144° syringe is located in area of occlusal surface of upper teeth on opposite side. At angle of 109–133° – in the area of the occlusal surface of the lower teeth on the opposite side. Rtromolar fossa inner edge is pricked out and fixed with a finger and the needle is brought to the middle of the pedicle from the temporal crista by 7–10 mm above the chewing surface of the third lower molar, moving posteriorly until reaching the bone, then 0.3–0.5 ml of articaine is introduced, and without contact with the bone, the needle is moved 15–20 mm backwards, where an aspiration test is performed and 1.5–2.0 ml of the remaining dose of the anesthetic is administered.

EFFECT: method provides effective mandibular anesthesia by taking into account certain parameters specific to each patient.
