FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to local anesthesia in dentistry. For conductive anesthesia, the physician stands up in front of the patient. Patient opens his mouth to a comfortable limit. Then the doctor sets the lower finger of the patient from the outside of the lower jaw of the free hand on the posterior edge of the mandibular retromolar region, a ring finger is fixed on an angle of the lower jaw, the middle finger places on a lower jaw head and a lower edge of the zygomatic arch in front of the head, the index finger is installed ahead of the middle finger in the place of the recess formed by the space under the zygomatic arch and above the incision of the lower jaw. Thereafter, the forefinger displaces downwards to a point which is the triangle centroid, the tops of which are formed by the positions of the large, index and ring fingers, corresponding to projection of mandibular opening on outer surface of branch. In another version of the method, the physician stands behind the patient, when open to a comfortable patient's mouth from the outside of the lower jaw of the patient, the thumb of the free hand is placed on an angle of the lower jaw, ring finger is placed on posterior edge of mandibular retro-molar area, index finger palpable lower jaw head and lower edge of zygomatic arch in front of head, middle finger is installed ahead of the position of the index finger in the place of the recess formed by the space under the zygomatic arch and above the incision of the lower jaw, after which the middle finger is shifted down to the point, which is a triangle centroid, the tops of which are formed by the positions of the large, middle and ring fingers corresponding to the projection of the mandible orifice on the external surface of the mandible ramus. If the patient's mandibular side is exposed to a comfortable patient's mouth from the outside of the lower jaw, the thumb of the free hand is placed on an angle of the lower jaw, index finger palpable head of lower jaw and lower edge of zygomatic arch in front of head, middle finger is installed anterior to position of index finger in place of recess, formed by space under the zygomatic arch and above the mandible incision, the ring finger is placed on the posterior edge of the mandibular retro-molar area, after which the middle finger is shifted down to the point, which is a triangle centroid, the tops of which are formed by the positions of the large, middle and ring fingers corresponding to the projection of the mandible orifice on the external surface of the branch. Patient opens the mouth to a comfortable limit. Doctor places the thumb of the free hand on the lower jaw angle from the outside of the lower jaw of the patient, ring finger is placed on posterior edge of mandibular retromolar area, index finger palps head of lower jaw and lower edge of zygomatic arch in front of head, middle finger sets anterior to position of index finger in place of recess formed by space under zygomatic arch and above incision of lower jaw. Then middle finger shifts down to point, which is triangle centroid, apices of which are formed by positions of large, middle and ring fingers, corresponding to projection of mandibular opening on external surface of lower jaw.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to accurately determine the location of the projection of the opening of both the right and left side of the lower jaw, after which the patients do not notice pain during dental treatment, regardless of anatomical and physiological features of oral cavity and without the need for wide opening of mouth during anesthesia.
