MIMO antenna array comprises a first group of antenna elements and a second group of antenna elements, wherein the first group of antenna elements includes several active antenna elements, as well as passive antenna elements, wherein antenna elements of first group are arranged so that to generate radiation pattern having depression in central part of diagram, wherein second group of antenna elements includes several active antenna elements, as well as passive antenna elements, wherein antenna elements of second group are arranged in such a way as to form radiation pattern having a projection in central part of diagram, wherein if the first group comprises transmitting antenna elements as active antenna elements, the second group comprises receiving antenna elements as active antenna elements, and vice versa.

EFFECT: high resolution, simple design, high compactness of the MIMO antenna array.
